- Patricia Hannigan is a Connecticut-based writer and photographer whose passion for golf was ignited in the spring of 2006 on a business trip to France. Patricia played her first round on an inauspicious course outside of Paris, and was immediately hooked. Once back in the US, she took lessons and began playing several times a week.In September of 2006, Patricia started Golf Girl's Diary, which has since become one of the most widely read independent golf blogs on the internet. The fall of 2007 saw the premiere of Golf Girl TV, a biweekly video podcast written and produced by Patricia, and featuring lively stories from the world of golf. Patricia's next project is Golf Girl Live, an interactive live webcast set to debut early in 2008. Fun, flirty and fashionable is the attitude Patricia brings to golf, and everything else she does.In addition to her online golf media ventures, Patricia writes a column, "The Cut Shot Chronicles," for Top Left Golf magazine. Travel, food, fashion and 20th century art are some of Patricia's other interests. She speaks French and Spanish fluently.
