LPGA Makeovers
Ever since I was seven years old and discovered my mother's Estee Lauder Private Collection fragrance dusting powder, I've been obsessed with all things beauty. Occasionally, I mistakenly assume that everyone is as interested and fascinated by beauty products, makeup and hair as I am? (but apparently they're not).
While watching the US Open last weekend, I found myself wishing I could get a hold of some of these women players and give them a bonafide GFW makeover. It doesn't take much to make a difference- the right base, a flattering blusher, tinted lip balm and some black mascara can do wonders. I realize that golf is a sport and the players are athletes, not models?I wouldn't want them to be. But who says that being athletic and looking you're best are mutually exclusive? I love that Christie Kerr wears a versatile taupe eye shadow, the perfect shade for her, and black mascara to make her baby blues pop. Didn't she look great in those photographs holding that gleaming trophy?
I truly believe that when you put your best face forward, it affects the way you carry yourself and, perhaps, it will enhance your game, your image, who knows, even some players' endorsement potential.
