- Legends Tour
Q: What is it like playing on the Legends Tour events? Do you find that your peers are still as competitive? How are they the same or different?
A: It's a lot of fun to play on the Legends Tour, plus you can ride a golf cart. So after you're done with 18 holes you can play another 18. In the few I've played in, I haven't had fabulous rounds, but the crowds have been terrific.
You get to see the personalities that made the LPGA Tour and brought it to where it is today. Hopefully Juli Inkster will be out there one day, and Beth Daniel, Patty Sheehan and Pat Bradley have played in some events.
I think it's awesome that these players have put a tour together, but they need help. They need more tournaments, and their purses are small.
It's just great though. We've had tons of fun out there. They're all friends off the golf course and enemies on the course. They're not mean to each other, they just get so focused that they're very competitive. They haven't lost it yet, that's for sure! JoAnn Carner is still playing and she just loves it and she can kill that ball down the middle.
